Camp Cooks - 2 positions:
- We have one position open for a lead camp cook (first cook) and one position open for a cook's helper,
- These 2 position will be full time, 3 weeks on, 1 week off, with 12 hour split shifts on each working day,
- The helper will have to work as the first cook, when the first cook is on days off,
- We are looking to hire as locally as possible, since flights/travel pay to/from site will not be compensated,
- Our mine is about a 1.5 hours drive outside of Dawson City,
- The season will run from sometime in April to as long as we can stay mining which is usually October/November ish,
- Cook's helper will be performing baking and camp cleaning duties,
- Cooking for about 15 workers.
We do require the following:
- an updated resume along with references as outlined in the 'how to apply' section,
- your own form of transportation to drive to the mine and home,
- Advanced First Aid certificate is advantageous for both positions.
Compensation
Pay is dependent upon experience, but our cook wages range from $175/day to $275/day
