Certified Inter-provincial Millwrights are required for our Open Pit Copper Mine. The operation is located 20km from Princeton, BC located in south central British Columbia’s Similkameen Country approximately 3.5 hours by road east of Vancouver, BC.
The successful candidate(s) will be required to perform mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs working within the Mill Maintenance team.
The Certified Inter-provincial Millwright shall be required to work safely and include repair and maintenance of all milling equipment within the mill building, internal and external tailings system equipment, pumping systems for underground water, and surface fresh water supply.
Demonstrated experience with Sag and Ball Mill systems, including conveyor, slurry and reagent pump maintenance and repair, air and hydraulic system, and familiar with gyratory crushers are requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must have Certified Inter-Provincial Millwright (Red Seal)., combined with at least five (5) years experience preferable in mining. Welding ticket would be considered an asset. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
