MRG is accepting applications on behalf of our client, a near-term gold producer, based in Vancouver for the role of CFO. Their flagship asset, a multi-million ounce, open pit gold project is currently under construction in the United States.
The CFO will be responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash receivable management, regulatory compliance, insurance and directing cost control initiatives of this publicly traded company as it transitions from development and into production.
The position will be based out of the company’s Vancouver head office, and will report directly to the CEO.
The ideal applicant will possess a professional designation (CA preferred), with at least fifteen years of experience within the mining sector,. The incumbent will have held similar positions with other notable mid-large cap, production staged companies. Ideally they will have overseen key project from construction, commissioning and into full-scale production.
