HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC
This position will report to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance and repairs to surface heavy equipment (eg. loaders, excavators, rock trucks, bulldozers) and light vehicles.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES
The candidate must be a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with a BC or Interprovincial trade qualification and a valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in a mining environment will be considered an asset.

The Mount Polley mine is located approx one hour drive from Williams Lake, BC. All employees are expected to secure accommodation within the local area. Daily transportation to/from the mine site is available.
Compensation
Shifts and wages as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
