Mining Manager

Specialist skills required

• Extensive experience in open pit mining and strong capability in mine planning and operations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders including senior management, technical professionals and operational personnel.
• Solid experience in the areas of project management and feasibility studies.
• Experience in the area of due diligence would be well regarded.
• Knowledge of mining software but not necessarily a ‘hands-on’ user.
• Strong technical, leadership and problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.

Qualifications required

• A degree in Mining Engineering and 15 years of experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above.
• People with less experience may apply and be considered for a Mining Engineer or Senior Mining Engineer role as applicable.
• Registration as a P. Eng. in B.C. or be eligible to apply for Registration.
