We are seeking a high calibre Mining Engineer who is experienced in the consulting business and is able to provide value-adding solutions for our clients. 

About the Role 

Ability to undertake and lead Mine Optimisations, Design and Scheduling Studies. Ability to undertake Due Diligence Studies and Operational Reviews and when required lead Due Diligence Study teams. 

You will assist in marketing the Mining & Projects divisional capabilities.  

You will work closely with senior personnel within the group, to provide a high level of technical and management input into a variety of projects and developments across the globe. 

Minimum Requirements: 

 Degree qualification in Mining Engineering 

 At least 15 years in the mining industry 

 Mine and/or Project Management experience 

 Expert user of mine planning software, either Micromine, Datamine, Gemcom, Minex, Mine 24d or Vulcan 

 Thorough knowledge of exploration mineral resource and ore reserve reporting codes 

 Experience working on due diligence studies and mergers and acquisitions 

 Excellent business acumen and strong industry contacts with ability to network 

 The role may require a component of international travel 

 Fellow AusIMM
