Senior Hydrogeologist

We are seeking an exceptional individual that can lead the data collection, analysis and technical reporting for physical and chemical hydrogeological programs primarily for the mining industry. For this we need a responsible, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Ten or more years of experience including five years in the private sector and 3 years as a senior practitioner
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing hydrogeological data collection programs
- Experience with effects modeling of groundwater flow and water quality mass balance modelling
- Experience with groundwater modelling software
- Experience with interpretation of water quality information in the context of environmental assessments for resource projects
- Professional registration as a Professional Engineer or Geoscientist
The successful applicant needs to enjoy working within a challenging multi-disciplinary environment and will be required to coordinate office and site work activities. The position will include opportunities for domestic and international travel and comes with an excellent salary and benefit package. Experience in the consulting industry and the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or French would be considered assets.
