A client of ours in West Virginia requires the services of an Underground Mining Engineer.
The overall purpose of this position is providing engineering support by providing design and technical assistance regarding all aspects of the mining operation. Responsibilities include Mine site engineering projects, Mine ventilation modelling, Water handling, Mine planning and Supervising survey crews.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of BS in Mining or Civil Engineering Degree with at least 5-8 years’ experience in underground coal mining. Experience with AutoCAD, MVS ventilation modeling, or Icamps modeling is a plus.
