This quickly expanding company is seeking a Vice President, Operations with experience in Mineral Processing, mining, or heavy equipment industry to help lead the team to further success.
As VP, Operations your overall role will be to direct the Operations function of the company, taking responsibility for the manufacturing, procurement, engineering, customer service and project management branches. This will include leading direct reports whom you will help recruit, train, monitor and conduct performance appraisals and motivate. You will also develop short and long plans,develop and recommend policies, present performance reports to other executives and participate in vendor negotiations.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least 10 years of experience in the mining industry, 5 of which are in a Senior Management position and 5 in Plant/Process Operations. You have a degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering degree and are P. Eng designated. Proven leadership, decision making, negotiation and communication skills are a must.
Compensation
Up to $170000, bonus, car allowance, benefits, vacation.
