Principal Resource Geologist (Geology & Exploration)

Reports to 
Geology Manager

Specialist skills required
· Geological experience in open pit and/or underground operations, including drill program planning and data capture 

· Knowledge of QA/QC best practices

· Statistical and geostatistical analysis

· Geological interpretation and resource estimation

· High level user of geological software

· Strong technical, leadership and problem solving skills

· Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills

Qualifications required
· A degree in Geology and 15 years experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above

· People with less experience may apply and be considered for a Geologist or Senior Geologist role as applicable

· Registration as a P.Geo. in British Columbia or be eligible to apply for Registration

· Canadian residency status preferred
