Aftermarket Operations Manager - Heavy Equipment (Management & Executives)

Profile 

Our client is an international manufacturer of heavy equipment used in the mining, construction, manufacturing and utility sectors. They are a successful and growing organization with sales and service operations nationwide. They are currently searching for an Operations Manager to be responsible for all after-market sales, service and operations nationally for their construction equipment. This position will be based in the Greater Toronto Area and be expected to positively impact all areas of the business by applying continuous improvement processes, progressive and disciplined team management and the implementation of effective strategic decision making.
 

Qualifications 

  • A minimum of 10 years of service management experience in heavy equipment, preferably for a manufacturer
  • Demonstrated track record of managing a complex operational team spread across a large geographic area
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Engineering or business degree is an asset
  • Able to oversee all company operations, establish and improve financial and non-financial key performance indicators to achieve and maintain world class customer service standards
  • Experience developing aftermarket business development strategies
  • Able to cost-effectively manage resources, while pursuing top line growth, improved profitability and balance sheet improvements
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement techniques and global benchmarking
  • Highly developed people management and team building skills, having managed direct and indirect reports in the hundreds
  • Ability to relocate to the GTA and travel extensively as required

    Salary Range: $200,000
