Aerotek is currently seeking an experienced individual for a Chief Geologist position. The hiring company is a leading mining company located near Winnemucca, Nevada.
As Chief Geologist, responsibilities will include but are not limited to, assisting, guiding, developing and leading the Mine Geology team to ensure they meet the Mining Department's goals & deadlines, conducting model reconciliations monthly, and conducting resource reporting, audit and vet models produced by Geology Team, to ensure that accuracy and compliance standards are maintained.
Ideal candidates will have 7+ years experience working in a leadership position as Geologist.
Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree in Geology, post secondary in geology field is preferred.
Compensation
This is a full-time, direct placement opportunity. The base compensation for this position is $125,000-$135,000 annually depending on experience. This position offers benefits which include: medical, dental, optical and optional 401k.
