One of our clients in the Canada requires the services of a Chief Mechanical Engineer. This position will be expected to build and retain a high performing engineering team through coaching, technical training, leadership development, recognition and challenging work assignments, manage the efficient delivery of engineering in support of maintenance, project and improvement initiatives and provide the engineering requirements driven by change management processes.
They also seek someone who can maintain relationships with customers to understand operational needs and improve delivery of engineering services and respond quickly to operational problems, manage external engineering resources to ensure operations needs are satisfied within budget constraints and ensure compliance in his/her area of activity with the Company’s environment, safety and health standards and procedures as well as the associated legal requirements by all those involved in projects.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 to 15 years engineering management experience in heavy industrial environment.
