The Mining Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Chief Metallurgist to work for Canada’s Newest Mid Tier Copper Producer on their flagship project in South Central British Columbia.
Commencing production in the summer of 2011, the mine boasts a 5 Billion lbs CU Resource and is planned to produce 105 million pounds of copper per year (for the first 12 years) plus precious metal credits.
The Chief Metallurgist is required by our Client for their 35,000 mtpd SABC Copper Concentrator. The position is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and eager professional with at least 7 years of experience (Copper preferred) to work with the mill operating team to maximize the production and efficiency of the concentrator. The Incumbent will report to the Mill Manager and be responsible for “on-shift” process management recommendations.

This position is based at the operation, which is located 20km from Princeton BC.
