The Avanti Kitsault Mine is pleased to present the following opportunity:
Chief Mining Engineer
The Chief Mining Engineer will provide mining engineering expertise during the construction phase of the Avanti Kitsault Mine and ultimately transition to Chief Mining Engineer once the site is operational. During construction, the Chief Mining Engineer will work closely with the Management team to ensure construction is executed in a professional manner consistent with the feasibility study/approval documents/corporate policies and ensure construction of the mine is completed to allow for a seamless transition to operations.
Once the Avanti Kitsault Mine is operational, the Chief Mining Engineer will develop ongoing mine designs and systems, ensuring performance and effectiveness.
Prepare operating budgets and schedules as well as manage the engineering team.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Mine Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of mine operation/engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience during construction an asset
