We need a part time (20 hours per week) Corporate Accounts Payable Clerk, based in our corporate office in Auckland, New Zealand.
Role
We’re looking for an experienced accounts payable clerk to join our Auckland team on a part time basis. The main responsibilities of this position include entering, coding and scanning invoices, reconciling bank and payables and resolving queries through to processing payments, processing journals, preparing GST and PAYE returns and compliance with Canadian requirements.
Requirements
- Accounts payable experience in multi subsidiary organisations would be preferable
- High attention to detail
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent numerical and communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy in MS office Suite; knowledge of Abel system would be desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Able to work in a deadline driven environment
- Strong organizational skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have accurate data entry skills and able to manage your time effectively. You should be someone who takes ownership of your role but not be afraid to ask for help when you need to.
