A fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Mining Engineer has become available in Edmonton as the company prepares for a period of rapid expansion. This job will give you the opportunity to work on major projects across British Columbia and Alberta and assist the operations as required.
A key focus of this role will be to analyze and optimize the deployment of business assets and prepare cost models associated with their current applications. The Mining Engineer will work closely with the senior management team to create forecasts and cash-flow projections that will assist in the company decision making process. As required, the Mining Engineer will assist site based teams with operations or projects in a technical capacity. Where the team requires assistance with project budgeting, the Mining Engineer will have the ability to provide input and feedback.
To be suitable for this role, the successful candidate will have over five years of experience in open pit mine engineering experience in truck and shovel operations. Preference will be given to those candidates who have their P.Eng or are eligible to apply, but it is not necessary for this position. You must be comfortable working on a wide variety of projects, being flexible, adaptable and business minded.

Compensation
$90,000 - $120,000
