Cost Clerk / Cost Engineer - Mining

My client is seeking a Cost Clerk/Cost Engineer to work on a major Mining project based in Central London.
This is a client role and paying an excellent rate and is long-term.
The key duties of the role are:
CA Creation
New orders/request received from staff. Ensure a proposal is received - follow up with vendor for a proposal
Assess what is required
Review quotations, ensure adequate detail is supplied, if freight is required make a note for PO reference
Assess WBS, ensure enough budget
Complete CA paperwork and give to relevant project staff to sign off
Update Ecosys with the PR/WBS details and allocate a CA number
Update system drive, ensure all relevant information/emails/proposal/contracts are saved on the drive relating to this order
Procurement Tasks
- Check if vendor is set up on SAP
- Send vendor form to complete/ requesting bank details; follow up
- Once released, PO received and I then send this to the vendor and all relevant parties so all know the order is raised
Invoice Payment
- Invoices, clear invoice email inbox
- Print invoice
- Assign PO number/WBS/vendor number/CA details
- Obtain approval from overseer of invoice works and management approval to pay
- Attach all relevant paperwork to SES including approval and invoice
- When remittance notices are received, match theses with invoices and spreadsheet
- File invoices/remittance
Cost reports / general activities
- Daily Ad hoc cost queries/status updates from site and London staff
- Follow up on emails from vendors to payment related queries
- Ensure spreadsheets align finance systems
