MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Drill/Blast Foreman, the driller will be able to operate both rotary and down
hole hammer drills. Current drills on site include Pit Viper, Bucyrus 60R, Cubex QXR 1120, and
Driltech C40k. Applicants will be in good physical condition, with excellent manual dexterity as
well as hand eye coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years experience drilling in an open pit
mine. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent communication
skills.
The Mount Polley mine is located approx one hour drive from Williams Lake. All employees are expected to secure accommodation within the local area. Daily transportation from Williams Lake to/from the mine site is available.
