One of our clients in the Canada requires the services of an Environmental Assessment Permitting Manager.
This position will be expected to prepare environmental permit applications, updates and amendments per project requirements and direct responses to regulatory agencies, establish and maintain a comprehensive schedule for EA submittal, provide leadership for environmental permitting activities and represent company positions relative to the EA application with external stakeholders.
They also seek someone who has experience with Environmental Assessment application process is required, experience in preparing and delivering presentations to regulatory agencies, local government officials, and special interest groups and strong written and verbal communication skills including public.
Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or other closely related science technical field and a minimum of twenty years of successful and progressive experience in the mining industry with a strong background in environmental permitting.
