General Foreman required for an open-pit gold mine in the Middle East. The General Foreman will supervise the mill operations which will include crushing, milling and the stacking of heap leach pads for lower grade ore. The higher grade ore is treated by carbon in pulp. Gold is eluted on site from the activated carbon and smelted to produce gold bullion and the carbon is cleaned for reuse in the CIP circuit.
Requirements for the role:
Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy, experience of mill operations in the gold mining industry, plus supervisory experience. It is essential that candidates have experience working with heap leach technology.
