A well-known company in Arizona, US is in the need of a General Supervisor for one of their sites.
This position will mainly be responsible for safety, environmental compliance, production, costs, quality, people and projects in the SXEW Operations Department. Additional duties will include providing input to the SXEW Manager for developing the expense budget and capital forecast, monitor the day-to-day SXEW Plant activities, review and interpret plant data and direct and support the activities of direct reports, which include the four SXEW Shift Supervisors.
The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in BS Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or mining related field and requires (4) years of Leaching – SXEW experience and 5 years supervisory experience. A sound knowledge of copper leaching, solvent extraction and electrowinning processes is a must.
