We are a Polish subsidiary of an international group of industrial minerals mining and processing companies. For the continuous expansion of our mineral resource base we are seeking to employ a geologist for the exploration and development of mineral resources. Place of employment will be in Central or Southwestern Poland.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Data acquisition and identification of silica sand exploration targets in Poland and other countries with focus on Eastern Europe.
- Evaluation of land ownership, legal and environmental status.
- Negotiations with landowners for securing drilling permits.
- Planning, preparation and realization of sampling and drilling campaigns.
- Evaluation and reporting of Mineral Resources and Reserves.
Required qualification:
- MSc. in Geology
- Fluent in Polish and English (writing and speaking)
- Russian language skills would be an advantage
- Practical experience with GIS- or CAD-software
- Disposition to travel approximately one to two weeks per month
- Drivers licence
