Geotechnical Engineer

Be part of a PFS team for a new greenfield mine in Bor, Serbia. This is an underground deposit and will seek your services for the Pre-Feasibility Study and beyond. You will be responsible for the gathering of data and initial interpretation. Working with and feeding information to the mining consultancy to create the Geotechnical model for the project and ensure the mining consultancy are able to design the mine from a geotechnical standpoint

You will be working for the mine owner on a long term basis and will be fundamental to the success of the project. The company is a well-established, international mining operator 

This role you will be based in Bor & available to start in the role in September / October with the possibility of FIFO or residential options in a well populated area.

What you'll bring
• Direct experience in field work; data gathering and interpretation of the data
• Experience working in the feasibility stages of a mining project.
• Knowledge and experience of MineSight & Datamine
• Extensive knowledge of Cu/Au deposits and experience in the mining sector
• Relevant Degree
