Global Sales Manager - Mineral Processing (Sales & Marketing)

Our client is seeking a Global Sales Manager to provide practical support and guidance to the sales team, driving margins and control mechanisms.  The individual will ensure that the documentation for all projects is managed effectively from both a client and organizational perspective and you will organize, motivate and lead the sales team to ensure that everyone within their team reaches their targets.

Responsibilities:

  •         Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company's products or services
  •         Keep abreast of what competitors are doing
  •         Maintain and develop relationships with customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
  •         Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
  •         Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential market
  •         Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  •         Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  •         Oversee stock levels of spares
  •         Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications
  •         Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  •         Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  •         Make accurate, cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations;
  •         Feed future buying trends back to the company.

Requirements:

  •         + 5 years experience in Mineral Processing and an understanding of the Engineering / Manufacturing 
  •         Financial management/Project Management/Time management and administration skills.
  •         Ability to produce and analyse reports for internal use.
  •         Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting tasks as required.
  •         Excellent communication and negotiation skills in establishing and maintaining relationships
  •         Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with people from a wide range of disciplines and levels both internally and externally.
