Mining Equipment Maintenance requires the services of experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join their team based out of Rockhampton for workshop and field positions.
The successful candidates must have strong knowledge and experience over a range of equipment and plant along with possessing a particular focus on safety, quality and efficiency. These positions require candidates with strong diagnosis and troubleshooting experience in CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc.
Successful Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters will require:
- Relevant HD Diesel Fitter/Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in Workshop or Field Services
- Experience in hydraulics and electrics/electronics
- Standard 11, Coal Board Medical &/or BMA Core minimum for field based positions
- Site inductions preferable
- Current drivers licence
- Crane, EWP, Gantry Crane, Working at Heights and Forklift are preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attitude in getting the job done within deadlines and time frames
- Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- High level of Health and Safety
