Maintenance Superintendent (Maintenance & Trades)

Job Description:

 

  • Planned, scheduled and breakdown maintenance for Furnace operations
  • Annual shutdown maintenance planning and execution
  • Machinery and equipment is maintained to engineering and operational standards
  • Offering a service of Capital Vote Preparation and Project Management to the Plant
  • Evaluating the economic and technical feasibility of projects
  • Managing and implementing agreed Capex and Plant projects
  • Develop a dynamic, high performing team
  • Executing work duties in accordance with legal regulations and company policy and procedures
  • Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards
  • Participating in the Maintenance Team’s initiatives to set and meet continuous improvement targets

 
 

Skills Required:

 

  • Thorough knowledge and experience of planned maintenance systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent management skills
  • Computer literate (SAP PAM knowledge advantageous)
  • Good knowledge of the HSEC system
  • Project management and shutdown planning skills and experience

 
 

Min Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in heavy industry
  • GCC mines and works
