Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada is seeking a Metallurgist to join our team at the Rochester Mine. Reporting directly to the Chief Metallurgist, the Metallurgist will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Initiate, conduct, and monitor laboratory metallurgical test work.
• Review and analyze metallurgical results from laboratory and operating data.
• Maintain leach pad loading schedules and ensure efficient operation.
• Assist management in setting achievable short and long term heap leach production targets.
• Manage and produce Daily, Weekly and Monthly Metallurgical reports.
• Work directly with process operations and to continuously improve process efficiencies. 
• Participate in site engineering design and functions as needed.
• Assist with day to day assay and metallurgical laboratory functions.
• Perform all work in a safe and healthful manner with Company’s safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing or related field
• Approximately three to five years of experience in engineering / operations position at a mine/mill operation
• Knowledge of heap leach and Merrill Crowe processing technology.  Additional requirements include a sound understanding of milling processes, equipment, operating costs, and productivity
