Our client is a mid-sized American mining company with a stable history and current acquisitions in place and plans for more. Our client boasts a strong company culture, stock which has doubled in a down market and low turnover. With some new expansion coming online, they are currently seeking experienced Mechanics to join their team at their mine in the Midwestern US.
To be suitable for this role you must have:
- 5+ yrs. experience working in the mining industry
- Experience working with hydraulics and with Cat equipment specifically
- Ability to read and understand diagrams, drawings
- Experience working in reactive maintenance
- Experience working with draglines
- Background in both mobile and fixed equipment
- Strong work ethic and an excellent safety record
- Experience with welding
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
- US Residency
