One of Canada’s most established mining producers is currently searching for several Mine Supervisors to join their rapidly expanding team in Manitoba. As an Underground Mine Supervisor, you will work closely with the Mine Foreman to ensure the mine crews are briefed at the start of each shift and that duties are assigned effectively. The Mine Supervisor will play a pivotal role in the safe development of the mine and will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and promoting a strong culture of safety at the mine. As a front-line supervisor, you will have a strong understanding of what is required to lead, motivate and promote a positive attitude amongst mine crews to ensure that production targets are met or exceeded.
To be suitable for the Mine Supervisor position you will have a strong background in underground mining and production, ideally with more than three years of supervisory experience. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to creating a safe working environment for your crew and the mine site. As the Mine Supervisor you must be comfortable leading a team, delegating responsibility and mentoring operators as required. It is expected that you will have a strong technical understanding of mining and be able to suggest alternative development or production strategies.

Compensation
$85,000 - $94,000 + bonus + relocation + overtime/loading
