Mine Technologist

Lake Shore Gold Corporation is currently seeking a Mine Technologist to support the Engineering department at our Timmins Mine site in the Timmins area. General duties will include assisting in the long and short range designs for all three mines within the Timmins West Complex. Reporting to the Chief Mine Planner, you will be responsible for assisting with the budget, reserves and life of mine design, as well as supply the operations group with short-range layouts. This position will also play an important role in the reconciliation of completed stopes.

The successful applicant will have 5 or more years of experience in mine design using an AutoCAD based mine design software in underground longhole stoping or a cut and fill operation.  Experience in ventilation, drill and blast and surveying would be an asset.
