As a contract mine planning engineer at this exciting gold operation, located in WA, you will quickly settle into the team and schedule and plan mining over multiple open pits.
This temporary role is available for a period of around 2-3 months. It offers an opportunity for the right person to impact on existing production plans and fill a crucial gap in the team.
Your main responsibilities will include supporting the operations in developing and implementing short and mid-term mining plans focused on maximum use of assets and production targets. Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will play an integral part of their strategic team.
You will have a degree in Mining Engineering and substantial experience in planning. Experience in open pit gold mine planning is regarded as essential for this role. In exchange for your expertise you will enjoy good camp facilities, competitive salary and an on-going contract. This role is FIFO from Perth on a 5:2 / 4:3 basis.
