As the Principal Mining Engineer / Manager you will you will have full responsibility and be expected to establish, build, grow. You will also have the opportunity to play an integral part in the future progression of the business.
Skills and Qualifications need to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering
- Post Graduate Mining and / or MBA Qualification desirable not essential
- AUSIMM membership,
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 10 or more years relevant experience
- Open Pit/Underground Background (preferably in Coal)
- Leadership and management skills
- Extensive Software & Planning experience
- A passion for the training and mentoring of junior staff
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
