I am working on behalf of a leading international Mining Consultancy to source a Principal Level Mining Engineer to join their team in Wales
The role will be based in Wales however you will spend time at client sites, project sites or field camps, and sometimes in overseas offices.
The work undertaken will be –
• Scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
• Reviews of mining methods and technical audits
• Reviews and re-optimisations of reserves
• Audits and development of mine designs and schedules
• Operational Audits and assistance / guidance for implementing improvements
• Due diligence
• Competent person reports
• Project reviews
• Stock market listing reports
The successful candidate should have a degree or equivalent in a mining related subject with the majority of experience gained in an international environment.
Ideally the candidate will be a member of a recognized organization with Chartered status. Previous experience of working within an open pit mining environment is essential.
