We are seeking a high calibre Resource Geology professional who is experienced in the consulting business and is able to provide value-adding solutions for our clients.
About the Role
To conduct geological services in accordance with the instructions of CSA management in a professional and ethical manner. In doing so and by the standards of your work, assist with the promotion of the company to existing and potential clients, and generate work for yourself and other CSA employees.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree qualification in Geology (MSc, PhD highly regarded)
15+ years geological/mining experience
Strong technical knowledge of gold, base metal geology (and other commodities) as well as strong resource estimation experience
Working knowledge of GIS (Mapinfo, ArcGIS) and mining software packages (Micromine, Datamine, Minex, Minescape)
Demonstrated ability to manage teams in the office and in remote locations
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships in a consulting environment
Thorough knowledge of exploration mineral resource and ore reserve reporting codes
Possess a strong knowledge of best practice resource evaluation techniques
