A mining company in the Middle East has an opening for a Rock Mechanics Engineer to work on an established underground gold mine in Saudi Arabia. Candidates should have a suitable mining degree and between 8 - 10 years of experience working in a similar position on underground mines. Candidates must be fluent in English and good communicators.
The Rock Mechanics Engineer will be directly involved in studying and determining the physical and mechanical properties of the rock and its behaviour in order to design practical, cost effective and safe mining systems.
The successful candidate will play an important role in all phases of the mining cycle and will be pivotal within the mine design team.
Compensation
This position is offered on a single status basis and comes with a tax-free salary package and bonuses.
