A UK based Consultancy is looking for a Rock Mechanics Engineer to join its expanding professional team.

The role will require: the ability to analyse and evaluate relevant rock mechanics parameters pertinent to mine design work; applying rock mechanics design and modelling to practical situations; interpretation of Geo-mechanics data; interpretation and monitoring of results and using a variety of tools to design underground excavations, methods, layouts and support for mines.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum degree level in Mining Engineering, Geology or a related subject, with a Masters level or above qualification in Rock Mechanics. A proven track record of managing consultancy projects and excellent report writing skills are also required. They will have a minimum of five years' experience, together with 2 - 5 years exposure within an underground rock mechanics environment and have Chartered status.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
