Safety Advisor (Health, Safety & Training)

Associated Mining Construction is currently looking for an experienced candidate to join our onsite Safety Team.  

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the Safety Advisor will promote a safe workplace by ensuring all AMC work is performed safely by adhering to the highest of industry standards.  

The applicant attributes should include the following;

  • Detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint, etc)
  • Results and action oriented
  • Display analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • NCSO, CSO, OHS Degree and/or CRSP designation
  • Minimum of five (5) years of safety related experience
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials common to the work site
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices and techniques
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of displaying and promoting a safety first culture of Zero Harm

This position is a rotational position located at the Mosaic K3 Mine.
