Sales Engineer or Technologist (Sales & Marketing)

Responsibilities

Contribute as a leading team member for the sales of instrumentation for the geotechnical, mining and infrastructure industries, as follows:

  1. Daily communication with customers for the purpose of project discussions, quotes, orders and follow ups
  2. Effective and efficient use of sales software for quote and order generation
  3. Use of CRM for documenting customer correspondence
  4. Customer visits including sales presentations, project-specific meetings and site visits

Plant/office – base work location (Maple Ridge, BC) Customer sites – occasional Field - occasional Travel –frequent

Qualifications & skills

  1. Engineering degree or Technologist degree/diploma in one of
    1. Geotechnical/geological/civil/mining engineering
    2. Electrical/electronics engineering
  2. Registration with APEGBC or ASTTBC would be an asset
  3. Knowledge of geotechnical and mining engineering including field experience
  4. Instrumentation experience is preferred
  5. Marketing and sales experience is preferred
  6. Customer focused
  7. Superior written and verbal communication skills
  8. Team oriented
  9. Organized
  10. Attentive to details
  11. Entrepreneurial
  12. 5-10 years’ experience
