One of the world’s largest base metal producers is looking for a metallurgist to help with their very complex circuit. With a new ore body and increasing demands they are looking for a metallurgist to help assist the Chief Metallurgist and metallurgical team in the optimization of their process circuit.
Anchorage, truly provides the gateway to adventure with 6 surrounding mountain ranges, immense glaciers, and unlimited wildlife. This job is a FIFO (4 x 2 or 2 x 1) from Anchorage allowing the successful individual the flexibility to fully enjoy their time off.
During your time on site you will be responsible for maintaining the processing KPI’s to support the overall sites production needs. This job includes managing metallurgical test work, supporting day to day operations and troubleshooting any issues that occur. Moreover, for this metallurgist job you will undertake personal business improvement projects to improve production.
To be suitable for this job you must have a metallurgical/chemical/process engineering degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience working within a mill. In addition, you are required to have experience in grinding and flotation circuits with base metals.
