Our client, a leading gold producer is in search for a Senior Mine Engineer.
The Senior Mine Engineer is primarily responsible for Long-Range Planning and strategic project evaluation. This includes technical coordination with Short and Mid-Range Planning to implement the Life of Mine plan and attain short- and long- term budget objectives. Current experience in Life of Mine planning, dump planning, financial analysis and equipment requirement evaluation is required.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Mining, Civil or Geological Engineering and 6-10 years’ experience in the mining industry in an open pit operation. Must have working knowledge of MineSight software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office programs.
