Stellar Recruitment is partnered with an international mining and water resources consulting group who are expanding their Denver office.  Due to project demands, they have a need for a Senior Mining Engineer to provide services to a range of mining clients.  

As the Senior Mining Engineer, you will participate in:

• Strategic / LOM planning
• Due diligence
• Benchmarking
• Feasibility studies
• Mine design
• Resource optimization
• High level improvement initiatives

There will be opportunities for you to contribute to leading the growth of this business utilizing your industry contacts to develop new business interests as well as undertaking market research to identify new business development opportunities.  

This role will suit you if you enjoy working within a fairly flat structure within a highly collaborative and social environment, whilst still maintaining a high performance and intensity in work.

It is essential for applicants to have a solid background in technical and operational roles mixed with consulting experience.  Strong mine planning and financial analysis skills are essential.  Carlson and Surpac will be highly regarded. 

Compensation

The salary on offer is $130,000 plus benefits, this may be negotiated.
