Senior Mining Engineer

The Senior Mining Engineer will provide technical leadership, project leadership and engineering design for a variety of multi-disciplinary teams on conceptual, feasibility and other consulting work in mining projects.
The role explicitly provides technical direction to project engineers, mentoring and development of junior engineering staff, as well as operating as an effective project manager on studies. The preferred candidate will be comfortable meeting with clients on mine sites and have demonstrated experience building teams.
Candidates for this positions must have a BS Degree in Mining Engineering with at least 10 years of experience at operating mines or/and as a consultant.
Current status as (or eligibility for) Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario is a must.
Experience in mine design and scheduling, costing, ventilation, backfill design, blast design and dewatering is a requirement.
