Senior Mining Engineer
My client is now looking to recruit a Senior Mining Engineer for their rapidly expanding company. They are currently undergoing rapid expansion plans so they are looking for a dynamic and skilled individual who wants excellent career development coupled with a fantastic package.
Responsibilities of the senior mining engineer will include:
- Managing and developing a team along with providing a professional approach to ones work.
- Overseeing planning activities.
- Coordinate all engineering activities with production teams, surveyors, geologists, drill and blast and contractor teams
- Long term planning and drill and blasting.
- Be constantly examining mining methods to improve performance.
- Ensure that all company policy and procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications / Skills of the senior mining engineer:
- Degree qualified in mining engineering or related discipline.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Be proficient in mining software such as Vulcan and datamine.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in underground mining.
- Be highly articulate with good leadership and analytical skills.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
Residential role Monday to Friday!
