This is one of the top Australian gold mining companies which are in the unique position of expanding their operations. Presently, they require an experienced leader to move into the Senior Surveyor position.

You will be highly experienced in leading underground hard rock survey teams, as well as delivering project oriented work. On to of the survey activities, you will also be involved in assisting management with the direction of the business unit.

Reporting to the Mine Manager you will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership to a team of 5 surveyors
• Producing and reporting accurate survey data
• Management of database and survey information
• Verticle development control
• EOM reconciliation and reporting

To be considered you must have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in surveying or similar discipline
• Authorised Mine Surveyor certification (MUST)
• Previous experience leading an underground survey team
• Sound knowledge of relevant instruments and software
• A commitment to safety initiatives and teamwork attributes
• The ability to work within both a team environment and autonomously
