Ramelius Resources an ASX listed company, operates the 100% owned Mt Magnet Gold Mine and associated Checker processing plant in Western Australia.  The Company also operates the high grade Vivien and Kathleen Valley gold mines near Leinster.

The company has enjoyed significant success in recent years with increasing gold production and the addition of new mining projects. It has a number of exploration projects, located in WA, NT, NSW and QLD.

The Water Tank Hill underground mine is a new operation planned to commence in the near term and is part of the wider Mt Magnet gold project.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Underground Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team for Water Tank Hill and for other potential underground projects at Mt Magnet. Reporting to the Mining Manager this position represents an ideal opportunity to expand your skill set.

Key responsibilities include:

• Alternate Underground Manager
• Mine planning & scheduling
• Drill & blast production activities
• Ventilation monitoring
• Contract management
• Project evaluation
• Promotion of mine health, safety and environmental policies

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mining)
• Minimum 5 years underground engineering experience
• WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
• Experience in managing an underground contractor
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• An absolute commitment to safety
