A new metal mine in the UK requires Shift Metallurgists to join the team in South West England. Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, the role will include all aspects of the new crushing, DMS, gravity circuit plant to process a wolfram - tin ore recovered from the open pit operation. Particular emphasis will be made to automate, monitor and measure process performance, in order to continually improve and fine tune the process to maximise throughput and recoveries.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in metallurgy or minerals engineering, and at least 5 years of operational experience. Previous experience of gravity separation plants is essential and hands-on experience of DMS plants would be beneficial, as would specific experience with wolfram and tin. The role is residential in the UK therefore all applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. Competitive salary and benefits offered to the right candidate.
