An expanding exploration and mining company in North East Africa, is looking for a Mining Engineer who has experience in solution mining. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing company with production this year. The Engineer will head up a department that will be responsible for the installation of solution wells and control of mining through the development of solution caverns. The role will initially involve the supervision of brine extraction from solution wells, brine field management and chemical control of evaporation ponds. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, have worked in the mining sector and should have a detailed knowledge of salt extraction, through solution mining, plus previous experience in the operation of salt and or potash processing plants.
