A Queensland based operation currently seeks a proactive and motivated individual to lead their mineral processing team as they continue to expand. In this leadership role you will report directly to the site SSE and General Manager and be responsible for the safe operation of all metallurgical processing on site from the ROM to concentrate. You will also be responsible for the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as well as the instigation of capital and operational projects and their successful and timely execution.
As a tertiary qualified metallurgist, you will have experience of one or more of the following commodities: copper, base metals, mineral sands, iron ore. You will be experienced in metallurgical accounting, be competent in all aspects of test work and have proven capability in leadership, especially with regards to the day to day activities of process plant operators and associated crew.
This role represents an excellent opportunity for someone with experience to step up and be accountable for a site’s mineral processing team.
