CLAUDE RESOURCES INC. is a Saskatchewan-based gold producer, engaged in the production, exploration and development of gold mineral reserves and mineral resources. Claude's entire asset base is located in Canada, with its principal assets being the Seabee gold operation located 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge, SK. Our Santoy project is located approximately 14 kilometers east of the Seabee Mill.
We are currently seeking a Surveyor / Mine Technician at our Seabee/Santoy operation.
Primary duties will include all aspects of an underground operation as follows: Jumbo development; Sill development; Alimak raises; Cavity monitoring surveys; Check Surveys; Surface cadastral surveys; Updating drawings in AutoCAD and Surpac; Data entry; Survey Equipment Maintenance.
The role will also include the assurance that work is carried out within relevant safety standards, guidelines, check and review processes.
This challenging position will be of interest to candidates who have graduated from the field of mine technology or survey. The successful candidate will, be skilled with computers and software. The qualified candidate must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised. A strong work ethic and good communication skills are also required.
The work rotation will be two weeks in, two weeks out, working 11 hour shifts. The Seabee mine is a fly-in camp with flights coming from La Ronge, Prince Albert, Flin Flon, and Saskatoon.
Compensation
The salary range will be between $52,000 - $61,000 based on education and experience. Claude Resources Inc. also offers a comprehensive benefits package as well as an employee share purchase plan.
